too long for a fb status update

so i went to watch the adjustment bureau just now with my regular movie buddy/pal milton and it was surprisingly awesome

as in the matt damon (jason bourne) and emily blunt (the other secretary in devil wears prada) pairing felt a bit weird but the plot and pace and all was quite good

esp the plot

which was basically

*SPOILER ALERT*

apparently there is this Higher Power aka Adjustment Bureau who intervenes when there is this need to and matt damon/ david norris who is this upshot politician, isnt supposed to fall in love with this random dancer girl emily blunt/ oh shit i forgot her name. haha too shag cant think. will edit when i have rested. anyway, you know you cant beat Love so no matter how hard the adjustment dudes tried, the two modern lovebirds just cant be separated.

anyway thats the very very brief summary of the plot. doesnt sound that awesome here but well, its 2 in the morning and i should be mugging/sleeping instead of doing whatever this is.

BUT the main thing i want to talk about is how one of the adjustment bureau agents (yes thats what they call themselves. and its super awesome cause they have like hats to allow them to open doors to everywhere. sort of like matrix just that matrix need has this key dude. ah i digress)

so going back to how the agent tried to dissuade matt/david from being with emily by saying how he stands risking his future (i.e the next POTUS which stands for the President Of The United States. cool eh? haha) and emily's future as the greatest contemporary dancer of the US. for Love.

would you do it? take this leap of faith for living with someone you love. or someone you THINK you love.

hmm an analogy would be say you are a rich guy/girl and you like/love this poor person and if you die die want to be with this other person, your family will disown and disinherit you. ok say you dun care, spurn the rich and comfortable life and come what may die die got together with this other poor person.

then you find life as a poor person suck. you sulk, your other half sulk. how?

then really have to rely on the Power of Love already huh?

thats probably what i meant by the leap of faith. whether you are willing to risk a assured comfortable life for something unknown and uncertain as Love.

and nope i wun. then again, i dun have a rich inheritance, so maybe yes. hahaha

and emily blunt's character is called elise!
