good ol', and new days

first day of work

and so four weeks of relief teaching at vjc just flashed past too quickly.

first week was familiarizing myself with my work. so that meant 4 days of slacking (monday was labour day) haha. and getting to know my colleagues, fellow relief-ers. thought that everyone was quite serious, well boring. i suppose everyone thought the same of me too. i mean, medical student, must be serious and serious-er right.

so totally un-true haha


and i think it was day 2 that i was issued a laptop. maybe thats why my time at vj passed a bit faster, with fb-ing, twitter-ing, and youtube-ing when i was free. which was most of the time.

lets see if i can recall correctly.

mon- 1x tutorial
tues- 2x practical + 1 x tutorial
wed- 1x lecture
thurs- 2x tutorial + 1x ip class
fri- 1x lecture + 1x ip class

i just luurrve wed cause work un-officially ends at 1025 after the lecture. awesome eh? haha. ok but i also got do sai gang one k. just not so much :)

work just got much funner after everyone started to get comfortable with another ie me revealing my, as my co-worker puts it, kuku-ness siggh. im already missing everyone =((

and you know what makes office fun and funner? scandals! haha totally, i got paired up with this other girl and omg, we had such a great time. i suppose one must pity and hope the girl who got paired up with me is not damaged in any way being associated with mr goh (me) haha but for the record, miss teo and mr goh is NOT an item. miss teo, dun too sad k? hahaha

ok enough abt work.

it was quite, i dun really know how to describe it, cause i haven really been back to vj since i graduated back in 2009, so thats 2 years of non-association with vj. nice lah, it was really nice to revisit vj.

though it was as a relief teacher so that meant 'going behind the scenes' into the staffroom. quite cosy wohs. haha free green tea and coffee and snacks!

but yeah, attending lectures (paying attention not required :P), seeing everyone in the vj uniform, eating at the canteen, attending assembly, singing the vj anthem. basically re-living the jc student life. though as an observer. but thats enough =)



ah, and the tree house!

damn happy that it opened on the last week of work!

but as a teacher, there's this new perspective that was interesting, different.

well for starters, you are at the front of the class instead of being seated facing the teacher. and seeing a lot of stoned faces. haha. expression-less, maybe sometimes 'i-catch-no-ball, HUH, what talking you' looks. haha. otherwise,its really quite exasperating to try to elicit a response, to the extent that any response is very much welcome. silence is such a scary sound.

oh thats for the jc class lah. ip class cant get them to shut up. lol. very inquisitive leh, i dun like. i prefer i say, you take it as gospel. hahaha

not to mention how times have changed. ie students playing iphone. like last time at most just sms only can. haha

and 4 weeks passed before i knew it. just. like. that.

just right lah, not too long. otherwise i would be too shag for sch.

awesome time it was nevertheless and i really am grateful for having awesome tolerant and fun colleagues, friends =D
